The Crisis Center is a program of Youth and Family Enrichment Services.

Mission: Strengthening communities by empowering youth, families and individuals to overcome challenges through counseling, education and residential services.

Our Crisis Line was one of the first in the country, founded by one of the pioneers of the crisis movement, Charlotte Ross, in 1966. Many things have changed since our inception over 35 years ago, but our primary function remains the same: to provide immediate, 24-hour assistance to people in times of great stress or grief.

The Crisis Center is certified by the American Association of Suicidology. Although this certification is not required for us to function, it is a validation that we provide emergency crisis intervention services that meet or exceed nationally accepted standards.
